Meet Kristen

I'm Kristen, a registered Biokineticist, business owner and, most importantly, a mama to a beautiful little girl.

Becoming a mother gave me a whole new understanding of the physical, mental and emotional changes that come with postpartum life. It also inspired me to create something that supports the woman behind the title of the mom.

My Why:

Everyone asked about the baby. But who was asking about me?

When I became a mom, I thought I was prepared. The nursery was ready, the tiny clothes were washed and folded, and I had read everything about feeding and sleep.

What I hadn’t prepared for was how motherhood would change me.

Just two months after giving birth, I was back at work, running my business and trying to keep up with everyday life. But behind it all, I was still recovering, adjusting and learning who I was in this new chapter.

Motherhood is beautiful, and it can also be overwhelming, lonely and exhausting. You can love your baby more than anything and still miss parts of your old life. You can be grateful and still struggle. Mama You Matter was born from that place.

I wanted to create something that reminded moms that their wellbeing matters too. Something that encouraged them to slow down, reconnect with themselves and feel supported through the beautiful, messy and sometimes overwhelming journey of motherhood.

Rest. Reset. Rebuild.

Rest.
Because motherhood asks so much of you. The little self-care essentials in your box are a reminder that even five minutes to yourself matter.

Reset
Because sometimes you need a moment to check in with yourself. The guided journal and mama check-in cards create space to reflect, process and reconnect with how you're really feeling.

Rebuild
Because your body deserves patience, not pressure. Through gentle movement, resistance bands and my postpartum exercise library, I want to help you reconnect with your strength at your own pace.

A Little Note From Me To You

There is no timeline. There is no pressure to “bounce back”. And no perfect way to do motherhood.

You can love your baby with your whole heart and still have difficult days.

You matter too.

The woman you were hasn’t disappeared.

You’re simply becoming someone new, too.

With love,
Kristen

With all my heart, I'm here for you. You don't have to do it all alone. Your journey is valid, your feelings are valid, and your rest is valid. You matter.
